Chestnuthill Township Meetings
Throughout our departments there are several meetings. All of these meeting dates can be found on the calendar on the home page.
Supervisor Meetings
To stay up-to-date on Township information and news, all are welcome to attend the Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisor meetings. They’re held on the first and third Tuesday of every month in the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building at 7:00 PM. These meetings are held to discuss important Township matters, and residents are able to review a wide variety of topics.
Planning Commission Meetings
The Planning Commission meetings are held at the Municipal Building These meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 PM. The Planning Commission considers, talks over plan reviews and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. They also discuss, review and recommend amendments to the Township Code of Ordinances.
West End Parks and Open Space Commission Meetings
The West End Parks and Open Space Commission (WEPOSC) meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month. They are held at 6:30 PM in the Chestnuthill Township Park Building. During these sessions, WEPOSC discusses current and future park plans, events and activities. The discussions will pertain to Chestnuthill and Ross Township Parks and the West End Regional Park.
CJERP Regional Planning Committee Meetings
The CJERP Regional Planning Committee Meetings are held at 7 PM in the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building. The CJERP meetings are on the fourth Thursday of every month. CJERP discusses Regional matters/issues that impact Chestnuthill, Jackson, Eldred, Ross, and Polk Townships. They make recommendations related to plans that impact the whole Region.
Zoning Hearing Board Meetings
The Zoning Hearing Board is responsible for: An appeal of a decision by the Zoning Officer; A challenge to the Validity of the Ordinance or Map; A variance; A Special Exception; and other matters as set forth in the State Municipal Planning Code. The Zoning Hearing Board meets as needed, as scheduled on a Monday Evening at 7:00 p.m
