expiring every two years on December 31.
Some of their responsibilities include making appropriations,
adopting a budget, levying taxes, and adopting resolutions to
make rules and regulations.
The Board
meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00
p.m. at the Municipal Building, Route 715, Brodheadsville.

The Township has an ordinance regulating the
subdivision of land, adjustment of lot lines and development of lots
for all purposes. Plans for all are subject to review by the
Planning Commission and approval by the Board of Supervisors.
Pennsylvania State Law mandates these reviews, and all approved
plans are required to be recorded with the Monroe County Recorder of
Deeds. A copy of the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance may
be reviewed and/or purchased at the Township Municipal building.
