The Park Commission was
formed in 1992 as an advisory Board of Supervisors for developing
plans, schedules, and goals for the Chestnuthill Township park
properties. Since 1992, the commission has been instrumental in the
planning of the current facilities, which include two miles of paved
trails and a community and senior citizens building. There is a

playgrounds, including the only handicap accessible playground in
Monroe County, and parking facilities that can accommodate 120
